We collect information you or a parent/guardian provides through our registration, evaluation, contact, sponsorship, referral, and newsletter forms:

• Athlete name and parent/guardian name
• Email addresses and phone numbers
• Mailing address, city, and state
• Athlete details such as school, grade or class year, position, height, weight, and graduation year
• Combine and testing information you submit (for example 40-yard dash, vertical, bench)
• Academic information you choose to share (for example GPA or NCAA Eligibility Center status)
• Emergency contact information and any medical or allergy notes provided for event safety
• Registration, event, and program history
• Payment-related information processed by Stripe (BLWE does not store full card numbers)
• Waiver, media release, and consent records
• Highlight film links and any media you submit for evaluation
• Messaging preferences, including SMS consent choices

Automatically Collected Information

When you visit the site, limited technical information is collected automatically:

• IP address and approximate general location
• Device type, browser, and operating system
• Pages viewed, referring page, and links or buttons clicked
• Campaign parameters (UTM tags) and QR code source when present
• Cookies and browser storage used for login sessions, form progress, and consent choices
• Google Analytics measurement data, only after you allow analytics cookies
• Optional session replay data, only after you allow session recording. Replay is disabled on forms, account and payment flows, and private portals.

How We Use Data

• Process camp, combine, training, and evaluation registrations
• Communicate with athletes and parents about events, schedules, and programs
• Complete secure payments, receipts, and refund requests
• Prepare athlete evaluations, testing results, and development feedback
• Verify waivers, media releases, and guardian consent
• Respond to sponsorship, coach, and general inquiries
• Maintain internal records, safety documentation, and event operations
• Measure site performance and improve our pages and programs
• Advertise our own camps and programs, only where you have allowed marketing cookies

Data Sharing & Processors

Customer data is not shared with third parties for promotional or marketing purposes. Mobile opt-in and consent are never shared with anyone for any purpose. Any information sharing mentioned elsewhere in this policy excludes mobile opt-in data. We use service providers to operate the website, manage payments, and deliver services, as described below:

• Stripe — payment processing and receipts
• Base44 — application hosting, database, authentication, and file storage
• Google Analytics — site measurement (loads only after analytics consent)
• Google Ads — advertising conversion measurement (loads only after marketing consent)
• Microsoft Outlook / Microsoft 365 — sending BLWE email such as confirmations and follow-ups
• Google Workspace services (Drive, Calendar, Sheets) — internal event, media, and scheduling operations
• Information may also be disclosed when required by law, to protect athlete safety, or to enforce our terms.

Children's Privacy / COPPA Notice

This site is directed primarily at high-school and older student-athletes and their parents or guardians. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13 without verifiable parental consent. If a program includes an athlete under 13, registration must be completed by a parent or legal guardian, who provides consent for the information submitted. If you believe a child under 13 provided information without parental consent, contact us using the details below and we will delete that information promptly.

Cookies & Tracking Technologies

Essential cookies and browser storage are required for login sessions, registration forms, secure Stripe checkout, and remembering your privacy choices. Analytics, advertising measurement, and optional session replay run only after you allow the corresponding category in our consent banner. You can change or withdraw your choices at any time using the Cookie Settings link in the footer, or by clearing your browser storage for this site.

Data Retention

Registration, waiver, media release, and event safety records are generally retained for up to seven years to meet business, insurance, and legal recordkeeping needs. Payment records are retained as required by tax and financial rules. Lead and inquiry records are retained for up to three years of inactivity. Analytics and consented session replay data follow the retention settings of the applicable measurement service. A parent, guardian, or adult athlete may request earlier deletion, and we will delete records we are not legally required to keep.

Your Rights

You may request access to the information we hold, correction of inaccurate information, deletion of information, a copy of your records, or that we stop contacting you. Parents and guardians may exercise these rights on behalf of a minor athlete. Email or call us using the contact information below and identify the athlete's name so we can locate the records. To stop text messages, reply STOP; reply HELP for assistance. You may also opt out of analytics and advertising cookies at any time through Cookie Settings.

Mobile Messaging Privacy

You can opt in voluntarily through an unchecked checkbox on a BLWE website form. Separate choices are provided for informational and marketing texts. We collect the phone number you provide, your consent selections, and related contact information to send the messages you request. The Be Like Wat3r Exposure LLC program may send answers to questions, customer support, camp and program updates, promotional offers, and discounts, depending on your choices. Consent is not a condition of purchase. Message frequency varies and message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to unsubscribe or HELP for assistance, or email blwellc@belikewaterexposure.net. Customer data is not shared with third parties for promotional or marketing purposes. Mobile opt-in data and SMS consent are never shared with anyone for any purpose. Data Security

Private athlete, guardian, payment, and evaluation records are stored in access-controlled systems. Administrator and staff areas require authentication, and private records are limited to authorized accounts. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, but we work to protect information appropriate to its sensitivity.

We may update this policy as our programs, technologies, or legal obligations change. The revision date at the top of this page reflects the most recent update. Material changes will be posted on this page.
