The Story Behind BLWE

BLWE
About
Coach Ali Saber Alaboody founded Be Like Wat3r Exposure LLC to give student-athletes and families honest, understandable help with recruiting, position and sport development, verified testing, camps, and targeted training. Ali is a hands-on working coach—approachable, thoughtful, and direct. His Division I background gives him useful experience, but humility, respect, adaptability, and consistent work define how he coaches.
Ali's path—from Dearborn and Fordson High School to Bowling Green and now daily coaching—helps him understand athletes without talking above them. BLWE was built to turn that experience into clear guidance, steady work, and realistic support.

BLWE Origin Story
A visual preview of the playing years, family tradition, and recruiting lessons behind Be Like Wat3r Exposure.

To coach student-athletes first, build a clear recruiting and development plan, then connect each athlete to verified testing, camps, training, mentorship, and exposure opportunities that actually fit the next step.
To build an adaptable, accessible athlete-development platform where serious families, athletes, schools, and teams can get high-quality guidance regardless of geography, financial circumstances, or the need for additional individual support.
The BLWE identity: Michigan and Midwest athletes, real work, and a standard families can verify.
Fast-paced recruitment and performance promo breaking down college exposure opportunities.
Adapt like water, attack like a champion. Official commercial introducing the core BLWE philosophy.
Built for Michigan and Midwest athletes who want honest development close to home.
Presentation that looks the part while the numbers behind it stay verified.
The BLWE standard, on film — adapt, attack, achieve.
The Be Like Water Promise
“Be Like Water” is not just a name. BLWE is built to adapt the delivery of coaching, support, access, and payment structure around real families while keeping expectations, safety, professionalism, and written agreements clear.
BLWE is supported by paid professionals and a dedicated volunteer base so athletes and families can receive more personal, hands-on guidance instead of being treated like a number.
Athletes with disabilities and families with accessibility or special-support needs can request individualized help. BLWE reviews each request and works to coordinate reasonable one-on-one support and accommodations when available.
When appropriate, families can ask about deposits, split payments, pay-as-you-go structures, checks by arrangement, sponsor-supported access, scholarships/comps, or a written payment schedule instead of assuming one checkout method is the only option.
Schools and teams can discuss custom payment timing tied to budgets or season milestones, including approved split-payment structures such as part upfront and the remaining balance later. Terms are confirmed in writing before services begin.
Written Arrangements Protect Both Sides
Custom BLWE payment arrangements are reviewed individually and documented in writing. Where appropriate, agreements may be prepared or reviewed with BLWE legal support. PayPal Pay Later and other PayPal credit products are separate third-party products subject to PayPal eligibility, approval, and terms.
What BLWE Does

Meet the Working Coach
Coach Ali Alaboody is a hands-on, down-to-earth coach who uses his Division I experience to teach clearly, answer families honestly, and keep the focus on each athlete's work—not on himself.

About Coach Ali
Ali Saber Alaboody is a hands-on working coach, former Division I football athlete, and founder of BE LIKE WAT3R EXPOSURE LLC. He is down to earth, thoughtful, and direct—someone who listens before he teaches and explains football development and recruiting in language families can understand.
His playing history gives him firsthand experience, but it is not the center of how he treats people. Ali does not coach from a pedestal. He meets athletes at their current level, tells them the truth with respect, and works beside them as they build the next step.
His coaching is built on humility, discipline, clear communication, honest feedback, and consistent work. The goal is simple: help the athlete improve and help the family understand the process.

Scout.com / 247Sports — Live Combine Report
Cincinnati Combine · Spartan Prospects · May 19, 2008
Scout.com Reporter — Verbatim Quote
"Speaking of athletes, how about Dearborn Fordson's Ali Alaboody. He tested through the roof running a 4.4 forty, a 4.1 shuttle and notching a vertical jump of 38.5 inches and a 10-4 broad jump. Then he torched the competition in 1-1s. Already planning to camp at Michigan State, Alaboody can play cornerback or running back. A similar performance in East Lansing could earn him a green and white offer."
— Scout.com Staff Writer · Cincinnati Combine Report · May 2008
This is documented third-party press coverage. A Scout.com reporter — whose work was syndicated on 247Sports — singled out Ali Alaboody by name after watching him dominate the Cincinnati combine among the Midwest's top prospects being evaluated for Michigan State offers. He tested through the roof and then torched the competition in 1-on-1s. This is not self-reported — this is what the scouts wrote.

"College Scouts Wowed by Fordson Star" · May 30, 2008
Nick Meyer — The Arab American News
"After an impressive performance at the UnderArmour/scout.com Combine in Cincinnati, Ohio, Ali Alaboody of Dearborn Fordson could be on his way to earning a college scholarship... He was named runner-up for MVP honors at the Cincinnati combine that features top high school football players in the Midwest, as he finished in the top five in four events."
— Nick Meyer, The Arab American News · May 30, 2008
A full feature profile published in The Arab American News documented Ali's combine breakout in detail — independently confirming the same elite testing numbers reported by Scout.com: a 4.41 forty, 4.10 shuttle, and first-place finishes in both the broad jump (10'4") and vertical leap (38.5") among the Midwest's top prospects.
In Ali's Own Words
"Part of it is genetics but we have a really good strength and conditioning program here. Tuesdays and Thursdays we do a lot of explosive movements and we also run a lot so I think that's where most of my explosive ability comes from."

Nick Meyer — The Arab American News
"Fordson running back/defensive back Ali Alaboody will attend Division I Bowling Green (Ohio) to play slot receiver and also to return kicks... [the players became] the first Division I scholarship recipients 11 years ago, when Carlos Smith signed with Western Michigan."

Ali's Advice to Young Athletes
"Of course, it all starts with academics; you can't go anywhere without those. But other than that, you should focus on your speed and do a lot of running. Speed is one of the most important things college coaches look for."
